What the client needed
The client sought to establish a vibrant destination in Phnom Penh that shifts effortlessly from refined daytime dining into a celebratory nightlife venue. They asked for a lighting design that could support a modern Chinese culinary concept with stylish sophistication, while also embracing the energy and theatricality of DJ‑led evening sessions. The space needed to feel polished and upscale during dinner service, yet adaptable and immersive as the mood turns more playful and dynamic into the night. Social media descriptions highlight “Chill by Day, Thrill by Night”.
Our solution
We designed a layered lighting scheme to support the venue’s dual personality. Warm white ambient lighting during the day highlights textures and finishes, creating a relaxed, refined dining atmosphere. As the evening unfolds, the scenes transition into dynamic colour, in line with the brand identity, energising the bar and social zones. Accent lighting highlights key surfaces and architectural features, while all fixtures are integrated seamlessly with the interiors to enhance spatial flow and the overall immersive experience.
