The client approached INFUSION with a unique challenge: to deliver a Bangkok project designed to exceptional standards at Tokio design process speeds. They sought a lighting concept that would embody the spirit of traditional Japanese Izakaya while reflecting the brand’s playful persona.
Our solution
Our lighting concept for FATBOY seamlessly merged tradition with modernity. Harmonizing with the vibrant energy of Bangkok’s streets, the entrance was strategically left unlit, creating visual interest through the windows. We designed a lively palette of bespoke lanterns, accent, and linear lighting to evoke the essence of Izakaya. With 8-bit Pixel-artwork taking center stage, illuminated akin to old masterpieces.
