Hone Bangkok. From Bone to Tone

What the client needed

A dining experience that evolves with the day calm and welcoming in daylight, bold and expressive by night. With a name that means “bone” in Japanese and “to refine” in English, Hone needed a lighting concept that captured both strength and subtlety.

Our solution

We designed a lighting scheme that transitions seamlessly from soft, warm white in the daytime to rich amber and violet hues after dark, echoing the ritual of sunset. A custom colour-changing ceiling sets the tone above, while a carefully curated palette of low-level lighting creates depth and intimacy below. Together, they form a visual bridge between floors, linking the calm of the ground level with the energy above. The result? A space that glows with quiet confidence, and shifts with the mood.
